HENRIETTA ANDERSON CONCERTO COMPETITION

Each year MYO invites orchestra members who are able to play at the senior concerto level to take part in this competition. First and second places are awarded cash prizes and the opportunity to perform a recital concert. Competitions are usually scheduled in March.

In order to ensure that an adequate number of participants are ready to compete for a successful event, we ask that parents and students commit early in the year to this competition and begin planning and practicing for the event.

The public is invited to attend a recital featuring the cometition winners. This free event will be held at a time and location to be announced.
