The McLean Orchestra

The critically acclaimed McLean Orchestra is a local institution that has continued to provide live, professional level orchestra concerts for 40 years. We feature affordable, enjoyable and enriching concerts to residents of McLean and the surrounding communities.

The McLean Orchestra strives to nurture the next generation of classical musicians through its McLean Youth Orchestra (MYO) while promoting the MYO’s international orchestral exchanges.

We want to express our most sincere appreciation to the loyal concert attendees, patrons and volunteers for keeping the music alive for 40 years!

McLean Youth Orchestra

The McLean Youth Orchestra (MYO) was founded in 1983 to provide the finest possible musical education to students who represent the future of classical music in the community. Designed for musically advanced middle and high school students aged 12 to 18, MYO offers the serious music student the opportunity to play in an accomplished orchestra while further developing their musical skills. The MYO was established by the McLean Orchestra, which continues to provide financial and administrative support.
